Sports Recap for January 17-30

          Wrestling, Swimming, Basketball and Bowling competed in late January with ups and downs.

On January 19th, the Wrestling team dueled against Central, winning 36-25. The team also won, scoring 65-6, against Catholic. They placed 1st in the Big East Conference on January 23rd. They went on to dual against Bryant on the 25th and won 76-0. The team dualed again on the 29th against Lake Hamilton, Bentonville, El Dorado, and GreenBriar. 

The Basketball boys played against Northside on the 19th, losing 48-63. The boys battled Bryant the 22nd. The final score was 24-63. 

The boys went up against  Northside on the 26th, winning 63-49. They also played against North Little Rock on the 29th, losing 34-72. The girls played Northside on the 19th, coming up short with 44-57. 

The team struggled against Bryant and Northside on the 22nd and 26th with  end scores of 37-40 and 45-64. The girls were unsuccessful in trying to turn it around while playing North Little Rock on the 29th. The final score was 30-47. 

In Bowling news, the boys won the Conway Baker Tournament scoring 1143, and scored 1173 for the Cabot Baker Tournament. The Girls continued the winning streak with a 987 in the Conway Baker Tournament and a 1016 in the Cabot Baker Tournament.

The Cabot Swim team celebrated success with wins against Bryant the 291th, scoring 848-654 for the boys and  699-453 for the girls.
