Our 2021 Mr. CHS is Samuel Owen. He was surprised to be nominated and even more surprised to win. Sam was impressed that people notice and care about him in the ways he tries to best represent his school.

“This is a really cool experience, and it will be something that I can tell my kids about when I’m older,” Sam commented.

Sam has plans of going to college at Samford University, in Birmingham Alabama, to major in Business Marketing and also a little bit of Sports Marketing. Even though he’ll be doing big things he will never forget the memories with his buddies on bus rides, theatre rehearsals and the fun times around the lunch table.

Miss CHS is Kory Lynn Jennings. She was so excited to be nominated and even more shocked when she won.

“It’s a big privilege, I would put so many girls in that spot ahead of me, it’s an honor and a blessing,” Kory said.

After high school she plans to go to Southern Arkansas University to cheer while also becoming a Dental Hygienist.

Kory Lynn stated she will always have fond memories of being able to spend time with her friends, in class, during cheer and in theatre.
