The Cabot Panthers are kicking off the school year with a new coach to lead them into this year of success. Coach Scott Reed, a veteran of 30 years, insists on leading the Panthers to a year of success and wins. In 1984, he was a student assistant at the University of Arkansas. Reed stopped coaching for a while to be in the investment business. In 1990, he returned to coaching. Coach Holt was his supervising coach his time at U.A along with Reed’s dad. These men were both important to him and were a few of the many reasons he started coaching.

As a former football player for the University of Arkansas, Reed advises our Panthers, “Work hard and enjoy because you can’t play football forever. There is nothing like High football because you are surrounded by the people you grew up with.” Coach believes the Panthers have much potential, he vows to fight by their side in the loses and celebrate their wins.
