Cabot Panther Homecoming
October 10, 2019
The Cabot Panthers looked to bounce back, coming off of a rough loss to Catholic and certainly did against Fort-Smith Southside. The game was a defensive battle as both teams were deadlocked at zero at the end of the first quarter. Quarterback Tyler Gee with under a minute left in the 1st half found Wide Receiver Brayden Jay to give the Panthers the first points of the game. This completion gave the Panthers a 6-0 lead going into halftime. After a hard-fought defensive battle, the Panthers finally found the endzone once again as Gee connected with Wide Receiver De’Kairo Rudolph extending the lead to 12-0. This would be the final score of the game giving the Panthers victory in their homecoming. The Panthers advance to 4-1 on the season and take on Conway next week.
