Cabot makes a come back

Last Friday, Panther Arena hosted two intense matchups as the Panthers and Lady Panthers took on the Bryant Hornets. The Lady Panthers were looking to keep up their momentum as they were coming off of a win against Central. The Lady Panthers trailed early but soon would take the lead led by Senior, Guard, Shy Christopher who was of the only Lady Panthers with double-digit points. The Lady Panthers took the win 57-44 and improved their record to 16-2.

The Panthers, however, were coming off two straight losses against Conway and Central.

The first quarter looked to tell the same story as the Panthers found themselves down 16-2. Cabot, Senior, Gavin Hemphill who attended the game thought the Panthers were in deep trouble.

“I thought we were going to get smoked,” Hemphill said.

The Panthers, however, had other plans, led by a 3-headed monster on offense. Senior, Guard, Jackson Muse would fire up the Cabot Offense scoring 18 points. Senior Guard, Seth Vance along with Senior Forward, Jacob Hudson would also find themselves in double digits points in a strong 2nd half. Panther Arena exploded with joy as the Panthers would come back and win 59-47.

Cabot will be looking to gain more momentum as they host the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats at Panther Arena today at 6 P.M.
