On Thursday the Cabot High School swim team traveled to Russellville for their last swim meet before the 6A Central Conference Championship.
Cabot competed against Russellville, Little Rock Christian, Searcy, Lakeside, Benton, Sylvan Hills, Lake Hamilton, Batesville, Pottsville, eStem, Subiaco Academy, and Westside – JC.
The Lady Panthers placed first with a total of 477 points and four gold medals: Women’s 200 Medley A Relay, Juliyana Fear, Cayla Garcia, Grace Esteban, and Elizabeth Esteban-2:02.81. Grace Esteban, 100 Fly- 1:02.87. Women’s 200 Free A Relay, Kaylie McKenzie, Kyndal Howard, Alyson Beason, and Elizabeth Esteban-1:50.69. Women’s 400 Free A Relay, Garcia, Fear, Howard, Esteban-4:08.68.

The Men for Cabot placed fourth with a total score of 217 points and three gold medals: Caden Niece 200 IM-2:11.03. Jacob Hertzog, 500 Free-5:22.50. Niece, 100 Breast-1:06.60.
