Spring Break marked the end of the third nine weeks of the school year. Students were out March 15 through 25. Students rested and recharged for the final stretch of the school year.
Traveling was the most popular when it came to Spring Break adventures. Junior Micheala Oczak spent her vacation with her mother sightseeing in Branson, Missouri.
“We went to Silver Dollar City, the Butterfly Palace, we went everywhere mostly,” Oczak said.
Though a few students decided to go out of state for their vacation, senior Natalie Evans chose to spend her break in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
“Me and my friend went to a bunch of stores and we ended up buying wizard hats and taking pictures in front of the giant Jesus statue,” Evans said.
Spring started when the trees began to grow leaves and the flowers started to bloom. Brayden Baldwin adored this season of the year.
“I like it when the trees start to bunch up with leaves,” Baldwin said.
Although it was spring, the weather has been unstable to date. According to Weather Underground, temperatures have gotten slightly warmed the past few weeks, but still dips down to cooler temperatures sporadically. Junior Dallas Ziemer claimed that he disliked the current weather pattern.
“Honestly I hate it,” Ziemer said. “it will be hot one day and then cold the other.”
