The end of the school year is quickly approaching as classes enter the last nine weeks. Students at CHS are excited for the upcoming events of prom and anticipation for summer break. Graduation looming not helping was motivation to complete school work.
Although there was a lack of motivation at the end of the school year, there were some tactics to overcome it.
“I try to stay motivated in school by pushing myself and by having something to look forward to if I do well on something,” sophomore Loren Short said.
When seniors start having a decrease in motivation, they can think about how close they are to being done to help get a boost of motivation.
“I look at my cap and gown reminding myself I’m graduating soon,” senior Madison Henderson said.
The school year is winding down and students’ work ethics slowly start to decline.
“Some people start to get lazy because it’s the end of the nine weeks,” sophomore Ryan James said. “ I’ll take some credit. I get a little lazy and behind but I keep my eye on the end of the year.”
