It’s that time of the year. Student Council hosts the annual Christmas Blood Drive. Students volunteer to donate throughout the day, in hopes of surpassing the 2023/24 years blood goal. According to Tasha Rowe, the sponsor for the Student Council Club, they’re on their way to giving more blood than last year.
“The Arkansas Blood Institute hosts an annual competition that is a year in the making and Cabot High School is #1 for the 5th year in a row,” Rowe said. “For the 2023/24 school year, we had 525 donations and we are currently at 315 donations for this school year, with two more drives in the spring.”
