Cabot Theatre had consistently introduced new initiatives year after year. Whether that be the new shows they put on or the fundraisers they host, there is always something going on with the program.
The latest addition to this line-up of exemplary extracurricular activities is Pigeon Camp. Pigeon Camp was introduced this year during the summer months and was offered to children in grades third through seven.
The camp is based on the musical Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical, which is a stage adaptation of Mo Willems’ award-winning children’s book called Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. This adaptation features a live band, puppets, and interactive songs that children and parents alike will enjoy.
Cabot Theatre has always been known to throw a terrific show. The children who were entered into the camp weren’t just being educated on the wonders of traditional theatre, but they were also allowed to star in the show in background and lead roles.
While this show is not offered to the public, family members and friends alike were amped to see the effort and dedication that Cabot Theatre and the children of Cabot were putting into the show.
