Throughout the history of the Cabot School District, there have been many musicals and plays, with all of them being led by some amazing directors. Hard work was a must when it came to theatre in the Cabot School District.
White Christmas the musical, will come to Cabot’s theater in December 2025. The whole cast put so much effort into making the musical enjoyable for everyone, but the leads were the biggest stars of the show.
Senior Kaitlyn Carmical played the role of Rhoda.
“Me and the character I play, Rhoda, are very similar,” Carmical said. “She is very fun and that makes her exciting to play.”
Carmical loved to rehearse lines in the black box room or the bathroom mirror so she could watch herself when she would speak.
Senior Hanna Ralston admired that she got the role of Rita.
“Rita is over the top and alluring,” Ralston said. “I got the part based on my singing audition.”
Junior Joshua Hale had the honor of getting the lead role Phill Davis. Hale rehearsed every day at home, which showed how dedicated he was to his role. His favorite place to go over his lines was between his room and the choir room.
“I feel like me and Phill are the same but different at the same time,” Hale said. “He is fun and expressive which makes him a great character.”
