The Cabot Panthers have many traditions that they like to call their own. From the amazing pep rallies to the introduction of the new sophomore breakfast, Cabot High School likes to keep its students busy.
One of these traditions is the Football Frenzy, which happens every first Friday of the new school year. Cabot’s very own football team plays each other in high-stakes scrimmages while the audience of students dress up in fun outfits.
Students from the freshman to the senior class all come together on this one day to support not just each other, but the school as a whole. Senior Allee Autry was one of those students.
“I’ve gone to the Football Frenzy every single year since I was a sophomore,” Autry said. “It’s always been such a supportive space for new and old students alike.”
It’s not just old students who were enjoying the fun that the night had to offer. For sophomore Abby Pegran, it was her first time attending; however, the memories and friendships she made along the way were worth it.
“It was really fun,” Pegran said. “I got to hang out with all of my friends, and it was super cool to finally see the campus as a whole for the first time.”
