The weather is always changing in Arkansas, and sometimes it can be very unpredictable.
As summer was tornado season number two, storms and dark skies are expected. According to an article on THV11, ‘September 1st kicks off Meteorological Fall, so the summer heat waves will start to become a thing of the past.’
Junior Kathryne Killough expressed how she felt about the current weather situation.
“It can be really dark and humid, which is gross,” Killough said.
Killough believed that some weather conditions can be dangerous, and everyone should be cautious when driving in rainy weather.
“In the mornings, it can be difficult to get to school because the roads flood,” Killough said. “I think the flooding in Arkansas has become a growing problem when it rains.”
It may even be a challenge waiting to get a ride to school in the mornings, essentially having to deal with the heat and poor air quality.
“The air quality is pretty bad,” Killough said. “The humidity is not the best, and it’s not so fun waiting for the bus when it’s very warm.”
Furthermore, it was proven that not all weather is nice, and there can always be difficulties and challenges navigating through harsh climates. Stay informed and be prepared.
