On September 12, senior English classes attended a tea party in the LOFT celebrating the completion of their reading of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest,’ by Oscar Wilde. Classes of Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Kester, Mrs. James, and Mrs. Hernandez met together throughout the day. The atmosphere was energetic, and many chose to socialize, watch movies, and play games while snacking on cucumber sandwiches and other sweet treats.
The downtime was appreciated, and senior James Baker enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with friends.
“It’s chill, everyone gets a break from class and gets to hang out,” Baker said.
