CHS has had a couple of fire scares, with neither being a real situation.
The latest alarm went out September 19th. Causing students to evacuate the main building safely while the situation was assessed. An alert soon came out from the district, claiming the following:
This afternoon, the fire alarm was activated in the main building at Cabot High School. The cause appears to have been dust from a maintenance project that triggered a sensor. Students were safely evacuated and returned to class once the Cabot Fire Department cleared the building. CHS went back on its regular schedule.
