Sophomores are adapting to a brand-new environment while making new friends on their educational journey.
Sophomore Bella Reed was getting used to the size of the high school.
“The size of the school’s courtyard is a lot bigger than the Freshman Academy’s courtyard,” Reed said.
Sophomore Harley Tankersley successfully adjusted to the new school’s social hierarchy.
“I was able to adjust to the school because I have a lot of high school friends who taught me about the school’s layout and rules,” Tankersley said. “My friends showed me to my new classes and helped me be on time my first week.”
Sophomore Faith Redmerski was still confused about the layout.
“The school is so much bigger than I expected, and I was unable to adjust,” Redmerski said. “My classes were all over the place, and I was late to most of my classes in the first week.”
Sophomore Elizabeth Gray was very quick to adapt to the school’s layout.
“I made a lot of cool friends and was able to find all my classes without any problem,” Gray said. “I was able to make it on time to all of my classes.”
Sophomore Peyton Soeller adapted to the new school quickly.
“I loved coming to this school because it was bigger than the Cabot Freshman Academy and had better food, which made it able to adjust quickly,” Soeller said. “Although a lot of my classes were not close to each other I was able to find all of my classes.”
