Region IV Marching Assessment

The Region IV Marching Assessment was held on Tuesday, October 19, at the Searcy Lion Stadium. This competition leads the way for attending high school bands to be eligible for State Competition.

The Cabot High School Band received an excellent rating from the judges, green lighting them to attend the  State Competition, November 2.

The band students performed their show on a tarp that spanned the football field. Packing up all of the students’ instruments and equipment took approximately an hour, including refolding the tarp.

That performance was a great opportunity to get into the State Competition while also providing a chance to bond.

“Hanging out with my band family is so much fun, even when we’re getting yelled at by the band directors and doing hard work together. We couldn’t do this last year so I’m glad I got to do it this year,” junior Kalynne Martin said.
