Thanksgiving has just passed and students from across the campus spent their break doing a variety of activities.
Some students traveled over the break and went across the states.
“Over Thanksgiving break, I went across the states to South Carolina to see my brother for the first time in a long time,” senior Matthew Mennett said. “We went bowling all the time. It was great out there.”
Some students stayed home over the break and played video games and spent time with family.
“Unfortunately all I did was play Fortnite with my friend,” senior Zev-Laven Hubbard said. “I went to my grandpa’s house for Thanksgiving and I ate. There gots to be mac and cheese. That mac and cheese is pretty, pretty gas if you ask me.”
Students may have traditions for Thanksgiving week that they participate in every year.
Junior Andrew Scarbrough said, “I went back to my home town in Alabama. I normally go to my grandparents, we fix dinner for lunch and fix dinner for leftovers. We will hangout for the Iron Bowl, which is Alabama vs. Auburn, on Saturday which is two days after Thanksgiving.”
