With the school year winding down seniors have had to start planning what they want to do once they graduate. There are a variety of jobs, colleges, and military choices for students to choose which they would like to do. Seniors have been asked what they plan on doing once they graduate.
Wyatt Shoup: “Go to Florida Institute of Technology.”
Caitlyn Boyd-February: “I plan on going to UCA and getting my bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am debating whether I want to do marine biology or go into the medical field. I am starting with biology so that I can go into many different things and not be stuck with one thing.”
Cayla Garcia: “I plan on attending UALR and getting an undergrad degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. I then plan on finding a job and working as a journalist.”
Alayna Adineh-Kharat: “I plan to take a gap year and do internships at law firms.”
Olivia Coats: “To go to ASU Beebe and major in early childhood education.”
Hailey Scruggs: “Going to college as ASU-Beebe then finding a stable job.”
Alicia Lisenby: “Move back to my hometown, and go to college there.”
Elanna Osborn: “ASU Beebe.”
Torrance Johnsen: “To be on the dance team at UCA and become an interior designer.”
Kayleigh Horn: “Going to welding school.”
Shelbey Breshears: “To go to college.”
Avery Dropkin: “Going to UCA to major in biology and minor in spanish. I am going to try their pre-vet program.”
Denver Smith: “Do an apprenticeship with building bridges.”
Nick Self: “Go to UCA to get a degree in something business related and after start my own real estate career.”
Brianna Rodriguez: “I plan to attend Arkansas State University and major in nursing.”
Emily Armstrong: “My plans after graduation is to go to the University of Central Arkansas and major in Spanish. After college I plan to become a Spanish teacher in order to spread my love for the Spanish language and culture to all prospective students just like myself.”
Matthew Bennett: “Nursing, so I am able to be out helping people the can under a doctor’s thumb.”
Bethany Myrick: “College – work towards a degree in astrophysics so I can enter the emerging field of bringing radio telemetry to the dark, formerly silent, side of the moon and pioneer discoveries of deep space. I will also be working towards my EPPP licensure so I can start a philanthropic organization/foundation that takes a new approach to addressing mental health issues, advocating self efficacy. I will incorporate my dream of building my own butterfly sanctuary with my plans to address mental health issues in a new way.”
Ryan Decker: “Study business at UARK.”
Carlos Tofoya: “I’d like to make music and have a YouTube channel.”
Zaine Meredith: “College, finance and geography!”
Parker Miller: “I’ll obtain my Church Leadership degree from Southwestern Assembly of God University and play baseball while attending. I’m working towards becoming a Youth Pastor.”
Natalie Evans: “Work.”
Jaymie Gaylor: “I plan to attend ASU Beebe for 2 years to get my pre-reqs in nursing and minor in animal science. After Beebe I want to transfer to UAMS to get my RN.”
Zev-Laven Hubbard: “I am going to the Marines. I have already enlisted.”
Ryan Tyson-Ryan: “Go to WyoTech and learn to be a diesel tech and truck driver.”
Christian Downing: “Go to ASU Beebe for my first year and then SAU.”
K-Dence Lynch: “Work.”
Kaylie Delong: “Attend A State.”
Bailey Stier: “I want to go into cosmetology school and become a hairstylist.”
Jenna Cook: “Go to college at UCA.”
Abby Baker: “Taking a year to myself and work before I go to college.”
Ashlee Reaves: “Go to UALR nursing program.”
Allison Clark: “My plans are to go get my bachelors degree in Political Science at A-State and then enroll at UALR for law school.”
Aryonna Young: “My plan after I graduate is to go to UCA for 8 years to be a Child Psychiatrist.”
Mia Crafton: “I will attend the University of Central Arkansas and major in Exercise Science. I have committed/signed onto their dance team for my freshman year. I also plan to rush in the fall.”
Brylee Leatherberry: “Attend UCA and major in Elementary Education!”
