Students from Cabot High School were fortunate enough to visit with two active FBI agents. The agents stayed in fifth period to the end of the day to talk about what they worked on.
Students who attended the presentation were able to ask the agents varying questions.
Senior Katelyn Hunt, a student of Ryan Collins’s Emergency Med Tech class, sat in on the sixth period’s presentation. She overheard various questions while watching the presentation.
“One person asked how many dead people they had seen,” Hunt said.
Junior Emma Bunton sat in the 7th period’s presentation. The two classes covered the same topics, but the students’ questions differed.
“As for the craziest question,” Bunton said. “They asked if the FBI or the CIA had any connections to MLK dying.”
The students were very interested in what the agents were speaking about and what the agents had to say about their questions, according to Hunt.
“A lot of kids seemed highly invested and genuinely interested in the opportunity of having them there for us to learn and ask questions,” Hunt said.
