On May 9, seniors attended their last day of high school.
Many graduates have plans after high school. They have many options from going to college, trade school, or into the workforce.
Senior Aubury Meier said, “I am very excited to start a new adventure and sad about leaving highschool.”
Seniors’ last day can be emotional and hard to face.
Senior Lily Mixon said, “It’s very exciting and sad because you won’t see everybody anymore but there’s many good things to look forward to.”
Senior Sam Gurley agreed with this statement.
“I’m very excited to graduate and leave highschool behind,” Gurley said.
Many felt like they were ready for the new challenges waiting for them.
Senior Israel Christensen said, “ I’m excited for adulthood and all the things it comes with.”
After all the anticipation for the future, others felt a little loss as they moved into their next steps.
“Leaving high school is very bittersweet for me especially with all the events,” senior Evan Pina.
