Christmas Alliance

December is the month of gathering cheerful laughs. IT also comes along with stress and planning. At CHS, the Student Success Center is hoping to make things just slightly easier. On December 11, the center will end the holiday drive for the annual Christmas Alliance. The goal is to help make Christmas time a little easier on families by giving them things that are essential.

“We are wanting to shine a light on families by gathering small toiletries such as shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and other necessities,” CHS counselor Mrs. Wilson states.

The Christmas Alliance is an organization where students, teachers, and companies donate to help families in need. The alliance brings together several clubs and organizations around the district and state that are willing to help. If students want to help they can even bring stuff in to donate. Small toiletries, hygiene kits, or even gifts that aren’t breakable. Students are encouraged to donate individually.

According to Mrs. Wilson, “There are roughly 22 clubs that are sponsoring and donating to the drive.”
