Learning life skills in class can impact students for the rest of their lives.
The Family and Consumer Science classes spent the last week before Thanksgiving break learning how to use sewing machines, and students made their own pillows. Sophomore Caydance Ungerank learned for the first time how to sew fabric.
“I had never even seen a sewing machine before now,” Ungerank said. “I made a pillow out of a football pattern and I had a lot of fun.”
