At CHS, hobbies are encouraged. From sports to clubs, there is something for everyone in these halls. For some of the student body, they found their calling in Theatre.
Cabot Theatre is a well-rewarded program, with reason. From the stunning, eye-catching sets to the acting skills, it was hard to miss a show. Both of the technical theatre and artistic theatre classes put in loads of work to make these productions what they are: Beautiful.
This winter, Cabot Theatre had the honour of putting together White Christmas the Musical. The musical is based on the 1954 film White Christmas, which was an instant Christmas classic. Though the film was tailored to the older generations now, children and teens alike could find something to love in this on-stage adaptation.Â
This comedy, romance-filled musical was something that students at CHS wouldn’t want to miss. CHS Theatre students were so excited to bring this musical to the high school stage. Students such as Aidan Kelly, Fallon Cockrell, Josh Hale, and Sydney Davis were playing the leads of the show.
On Thursday, December 11, Cabot Theatre will be performing for the high school. Tickets will be available to purchase the following week for $5. Alongside the high school show, students and citizens of Cabot can purchase tickets to any of their public performances, which are on December 11 at 7:00 pm, December 13 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and finally December 14 at 2:00 pm.Â
